Manchester. Regimental Headquarters and No.1 Squadron from 1932 to 1955. |

The Drill Hall, Norton Street, Brooks’ Bar,
Manchester. Building subsequently sold and now used by the Royal Mail as
the Manchester South West Delivery Office.
Sub-units formed:
No.1 Squadron 1947 - 1955. The Drill Hall, Norton Street, Brooks’
Bar, Manchester.
No.2 Squadron 1948 - 1961. The Drill Hall, Dinting Lane, Glossop.
Became part of 64th Signal Regiment, TA in 1961.
No.3 Squadron 1949 - 1967. Signal House, Score Lane, Liverpool. Now
home to V (Liverpool Scottish) Company, 5th/8th
(Volunteer) Battalion, The King’s Regiment and re-named Forbes House. |

The Drill Hall, Norman Road, Rusholme, Manchester.
Other sub-units as above until 1961 then:
No.1 Squadron - The Drill Hall, Cross Lane, Salford (building
subsequently demolished).
No.2 Squadron 1961 - 1967. The Drill Hall, Norman Road, Rusholme,
Manchester, with detachment at The Drill Hall Britannia Road, Sale between
1961 - 1966. The Britannia Road Drill Hall has since been demolished.
No.3 Squadron 1949 - 1967. Signal House, Score Lane, Liverpool. |

Building re-named the TAVR Centre, Norman Road,
Rusholme, Manchester. All other sub-units closed.
In 1979, the building was re-named the TA Centre. |
