Uniform Buttons Collecting Bookshop

We've done some research to find military insignia reference books on the internet - click on the hyperlinks to buy direct from Amazon.co.uk.  (A number of North American customers have commented that Amazon.co.uk is cheaper than its US partner Amazon.com).

The books listed are ones that we use on a regular basis.  In many cases they show insignia reference numbers that we use on our mail-order catalogues.  Please note that these books are sold by Amazon.co.uk - not by Ian Kelly (Militaria).  A number of books do not have links to Amazon - this is because they are out-of-print.  We have kept the details of suitable out-of-print books on our web site so that you can use the information to buy them second-hand.

Describes hunt uniforms and illustrates hunt buttons for the UK, Ireland, America, the Commonwealth and Europe.  The most useful book dealing with hunt buttons.

This is the best book on uniform buttons, but unfortunately is no longer published.  Second-hand copies are rare and expensive - if you are serious about button collecting and see a copy for less than £60.00, you have a bargain - buy it immediately.
The book illustrates and identifies buttons from the United Kingdom and many overseas countries.  In addition to military and police buttons, it covers ambulance, fire service, prisons, hospital, blazer, clubs, livery, hunts, public and private companies, hotels, American state seals, town crests, schools, customs & excise, airlines, shipping, railways and transportation.
