Postage & Shipping CostsWith effect from 1 June 2007, there will be a minimum charge of £1.50 postage and packing for all orders. The prices shown below are are only a rough guide - the price you will eventually pay on heavier items is the cost of the stamps on the packet. If items you order are no longer available, then the weight of the packet will be reduced and the postage cost will be lower. InsuranceThe insignia that we send is insured in transit by the Royal Mail. If the order total is up to £36, there is no extra cost for insurance. If your order costs over £36, we must insure it at extra cost. We use Special Delivery if sent within the UK or BFPO, or 'International Signed For' if overseas. Parcel WeightCosts include the weight of the packaging materials and are shown in grammes. As a rough guide, a 100 gramme packet could consist of up to 3 or 4 Other Ranks metal cap badges or up to 11 large brass buttons. Parcel SizeThe Royal Mail has introduced postal prices based on the size of the packets, it is more expensive to send bulky packets, but where possible we try to pack carefully to keep postal prices lower. The packet size does not affect overseas mail or Insured 'Special Delivery' mail. Most orders can be sent with prices as shown below, but Royal Mail costs exceed this amount, then the charge will be cost-price, i.e. the price of the stamps. Overseas MailItems sent overseas are sent by cheapest airmail method. Normally this is 'Airmail Small Packet' rate. Postage is cheaper within Western Europe than to other overseas countries.
